57 Feral Cats
January 5, 2011 For the past fifteen years, I have been taking care of The Feral Cats of Oakton. (Anyone who is interested in the history and unusual journey of my cats will find "57 Feral Cats ~ Our Story" on the Forum.) During six of those years, I had a very interesting part-time job in the import/export field but gave that up when my father had emergency surgery in 2002. I made many trips to visit him until he passed away in July of 2005. I lost my mother in January of 2009 after taking care of her, their townhouse, and her finances for over five years. Now I am an "orphan" without much of a family to speak of. All of you at Solitaire Craving have gradually become a nice part of my day! I look forward to reading the daily chat and enjoy trying to solve each game as best I can! My scores are improving but they would not be half of what they are without the much-needed help from the clue-givers. Thanks to all of you! I am in awe of the minds that solve the games so easily (the "whiz kids" as I like to call them). This also applies to the speed with which so many complete each game -- almost faster than I can think! After reading other profiles, I see that several of us in the Solitaire Craving community have something in common -- Fibromyalgia. My heart goes out to all who struggle on a daily basis with the difficulties associated with this condition. Many years ago, I taught English as a Second Language at the university in Pamplona, Spain. More recently, I had a dog training business for a couple of years called "The Teacher s Pet". I love Indian food, like to read, work on jigsaw puzzles whenever I have the time, and enjoy watching professional football and baseball. I try to play the piano daily, and almost always have music playing throughout the house . . . Love music! Best wishes to everyone, Susan slt500@verizon.net
